Mama's Best Nursing Tank Bra

Breast is Best Clothing for Nursing Mothers is proud to announce the launch of new line nursing bras, Mamas Best Bra, made of bamboo fabric. This bra allows nursing mothers to experience all the comfort and convenience of a nursing bra, while doing the right thing for themselves, their babies and the environment. Bamboo fabric is silky soft and comfortable and is perfect for a nursing bra. The fabric is naturally antibacterial and absorbent and wicks away moisture, so any leakage will dry quickly. Those who have allergies or sensitive skin are unlikely to experience adverse reactions from this material. Of equal importance is the fact that bamboo is fast-growing and regenerating plant, which makes it an environmentally-friendly product that lives up to the ideal of being a sustainable resource.

For most women, the onset of menopause is faced with dread thanks to the countless rumors and misinformation surrounding the issue. Who would welcome the change when it brings with it such discomforting symptoms such as hot flashes, wrinkles, weight gain, depression, anxiety, vaginal dryness and the eventual loss of sex drive? However, most of these symptoms have nothing to do with menopause and are merely signs of the natural aging process. And despite all of the horror stories that cloud the realities of this life-changing event, there are just a handful of symptoms directly associated with menopause - hot flashes and vaginal dryness.

Scientifically speaking, menopause is a period of transition whereby a woman experiences changes in her monthly period until it eventually ceases. This transition period usually lasts for five years (two years before the last menstrual period and three years after it). Most women go through menopause between the ages 45 and 53 with some women experiencing it a little earlier or a little later than most. It is also interesting to note that most women go through the change at about the same age her mother did!

While it is true that menopause can cause some inconveniences such as hot flashes and profuse sweating, these can easily be dealt with by making a few lifestyle changes. Check out these suggestions to help you cope up with these symptoms:

Wear appropriate clothing. Almost 80% of all women going through menopause experience periods of sudden, intense heat and profuse sweating. These episodes are most commonly known as flushes or hot flashes and they occur as a natural reaction to significantly decreased estrogen levels in the body. To keep your cool under these situations, it would be wise to wear loose clothing that can be easily removed.

Cool it down. Spritzing your face with cool water can bring enormous relief from hot flashes. Simply fill an ordinary squeeze bottle with cool water and use it to help bring your body temperature down! Another option is to blot your face with a cool washcloth or a moist towelette to douse the heat. You can also keep your cool by carrying a small personal fan with you wherever you go! Some good choices are inexpensive wood or paper fans or battery powered personal fans that are small enough to fit right into your purse.

Stay away from caffeine and alcohol. Hot flashes or flushes can sometimes be triggered by caffeine and/or alcohol. So, if you are one of those women who seem to experience such symptoms after consuming alcohol and/or caffeine, it would be better to avoid them completely. Remember that you can always shift to decaffeinated coffee or non-caffeinated tea instead. Another reason to avoid caffeine excessive caffeine intake depletes your bodys calcium reserve by prompting the kidneys to excrete more and more calcium through the urine. If left unchecked, this can lead to bone thinning; which is another symptom associated with menopause.

You do not have to fret about the onset of menopause. In fact, nobody who knows the correct information regarding the change should ever worry. Menopause is but a natural phase in life that every woman must go through. Just take it easy and you will be delighted to find the doorway to a more exciting and more challenging period of life ahead of you!
